Unlike houses on flat lots those in hillside areas have their own problems. Settlement in older hillside homes is common and can usually be addressed with deepened foundations that extend down into competent material such as bedrock.

Aside from seismic retrofitting, most foundation problems on hillsides require a soils report to address. A soils report will provide the information necessary to ensure the repair is designed correctly.

Yes, building permits and engineering are generally required on hillside projects.  Foundation Repair LA will work with the homeowner to obtain the soils report and then provide the required plans, engineering and building permits for the work.

Yes, you will not be required to move out of your home for this work to be done. Foundation Repair LA will properly shore (install temporary support system) to allow for the removal of the existing foundation if applicable.
